Job Description

Position Title: Production

Wage: $21.25 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 4:00pm-2:00am (Mon-Thurs)

Join a dynamic team in a food production environment, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality cheese products in Juda, WI. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop skills in food processing while ensuring product safety and quality compliance.

Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Remove cheese forms from brine and place them on conveyors for further processing.
- Spray down and sanitize equipment and work areas between batches to maintain hygiene standards.
- Monitor the automated cheese extraction process, ensuring proper operation.
- Follow GMPs, company procedures, and policies to ensure safety and quality.
- Bag, scale, label, and prepare cheese for shipment.
- Place cheese into air-filled pouches, perform visual inspections, and remove any loose parts from packages.
- Rinse and sanitize equipment throughout the shift to prevent contamination.
- Ensure continuous product flow by monitoring positioning, spacing, sealing, and labeling of packages.
- Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment for optimal operation.
- Perform boxing and palletizing of finished products.
- Maintain a clean work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Production Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, and pushing.
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout shifts.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with temperature variations, including cool and hot conditions, and in wet and noisy spaces.
- Must adhere to strict personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to read, understand, and execute written procedures accurately.
- Must pass both QPS and company screening process.
- Strong math, reading, writing, and computer skills are preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
