Production Worker

This role involves working on a fast-paced packing line where vinyl parts for window frames come off the production line. You will stand for extended periods, lift and stack parts for packaging, and follow basic work orders to record part numbers. The position offers structured 12-hour shifts with opportunities for overtime and advancement into higher-responsibility roles within production.

Responsibilities
  • Work on the packing line where vinyl parts for window frames come off the production line.
  • Stand on your feet for 8–10 hours per day while monitoring parts coming off the lines.
  • Lift 10–15 lb vinyl parts off the machine and stack them neatly for packaging.
  • Follow basic work orders to record part numbers accurately, ensuring correct documentation of production.
  • Assist with general production, labor, packaging, and assembly tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with facility standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members and line leads to keep the production line running smoothly.
  • Adapt to changing production needs and support other tasks within the production area as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Preferably 1 year of production or warehouse experience.
  • Preferably 1 year of labor or packaging experience.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift and handle parts weighing approximately 10–15 lbs repeatedly.
  • Basic ability to read and follow simple work orders.
  • Reliability and consistency in attending scheduled 12-hour shifts.
  • Willingness to perform production, labor, packaging, and assembly tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in assembly, labor, packaging, or production environments is an asset.
  • Comfort working around machinery in a large production facility.
  • Attention to detail when recording part numbers and following work instructions.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and to pick up additional hours when needed.
  • No medical clearances or formal certifications required for this role.

Work Environment

You will work in a very large yet clean production facility that manufactures window frames. The environment includes extensive machinery and active production lines, requiring consistent attention to safety and procedures. The role follows a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, either 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m., and you may pick up an extra 12-hour shift to reach 48 hours per week. The facility is kept in good condition, and you will work primarily on your feet near operating equipment. Steel-toed shoes are required, and safety glasses and gloves are provided depending on the area you work in, supporting a safety-focused and well-organized work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakmont, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
