JOB SUMMARY:
Okemos Kids Club is looking for energetic, child-centered individuals who can build strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Whether you prefer babies, preschoolers, or older kids, we have programs for children from infancy through 8th grade. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to complete a background check
- Part-time positions starting at $15.21 per hour
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Okemos, MI 48864 (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities
- Supervise children during play, meals, and rest time
- Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering and toileting
- Promote positive behavior and help children problem-solve
- Communicate with parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or program space
