QC Inspector

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - Welded Products

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support inspection of welded components in a manufacturing/job shop setting. This is a hands-on position requiring work on the production floor and regular interaction with fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect welded parts and assemblies for quality and conformance
• Review weld appearance, fit-up, and overall workmanship against drawings and specifications
• Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to production personnel
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, and weld gauges
• Perform in-process and final inspections in a fast-paced shop environment

Qualifications:

• Experience inspecting welded products in a QC role
• Knowledge of visual weld inspection standards and acceptance criteria
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing instructions
• Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• CWI certification or related experience preferred
