Quality and Packaging Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
• Ensure the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
• Visually inspect cans, bottles, boxes, cartons, and other materials for printing defects, quality defects, food safety defects, etc.
• Work at varying stations on automated production lines to ultimately move finished goods from the production line to finished good skids, including stacking finished good cases on skids.
• Communicate any changes immediately in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages.
• Ensure that the packaging rate guidelines are followed to meet productivity/metrics.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Responsible for food safety pre-requisite training programs related to designated area(s).
Quality and Packaging Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Work in a wet environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicals and allergens.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background).
