Description
Quality Inspector
Step into the world of aerospace testing with Element, a global leader in high-tech testing, inspection, and certification. Our Cincinnati team helps ensure that some of the most advanced aerospace components in the world meet the highest standards for quality and safety. This is your chance to get your foot in the door of a cutting-edge industry and build hands-on skills that can launch your career.
Salary: $25- $30/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Inspect machine parts once they complete machining.
- Record dimensions and ensure quality standards
- Fill out final inspection reports
- Communicate with project coordinators about any issues that occurred during machining
Skills / Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED (college or vocational coursework a plus)
- 2+ years in a machine shop or machining experience
- Strong safety mindset and basic math/computer skills
Physical Demands:
- Frequency of required physical force: Moderate
- Lifting requirements: lifting 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
