Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector - 1st Shift | $27-38/hr

Inspect, document, and certify aerospace components throughout production to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and flight safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Read complex blueprints and GD&T to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Compare measurements to specifications and document discrepancies through NCF/MRB processes.
• Use inspection equipment such as CMM, FARO Arm, borescope, and optical comparator.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating CMMs (Mitutoyo, Metris, or Zeiss) preferred.
• Familiarity with FARO Arm operation/programming preferred.
• Proficient with GD&T, engineering drawings, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
