Duration: 12 months contract

Pay: $28.00/hr. on W2

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens or Perm Residents

Shift: 1st shift Mon-Thurs 5 AM - 3:30 PM EST

Job Description:

Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

Role will incorporate use of drawings and written inspection instructions. Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

Skills required:

• Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs)
• Must be able to sit at workstation for long periods of time
• Must have prior experience either in inspection visually inspecting solder connections or as an assembly build operator with experience on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Minimum 2-year solder/visual Inspection experience, or in lieu of quality inspection minimum 2 years manufacturing/soldering experience of Electronic Assemblies.
• Minimum 1-year conformal coating experience
• Must be detailed and Quality and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
