Quality Inspectors Wanted

Join our team at The Fountainhead Group – now hiring quality inspectors for 1st and 2nd shifts! Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? The Fountainhead Group is seeking dedicated quality inspectors to join our growing team on both 1st and 2nd shifts. As part of our quality department, you'll play a key role in ensuring the products we proudly manufacture meet the highest standards.

In this hands-on role, you'll perform first-piece, incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality at every stage of production. You'll also help evaluate and document customer returns—all while keeping accurate records that support both company and customer requirements.

Available shifts and pay:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday | $19.00/hour
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday | $19.00/hour + $0.50 shift differential

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct first article inspection on new products and/or revised products.
  • Inspection throughout the entire manufacturing process including inspection of raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • Ensure appropriate action is taken when non-conforming material is found. Make production run or hold recommendations based on the critically of the defect.
  • Ensure operators are processing or assembling material according to work orders and/or BOM. Communicate discrepancies to the attention of the supervisor, assistant Q.C. manager and Q.C. manager.
  • Document performed inspections including non-conforming product found during the inspection process.
  • Create DMR's in Epicor for all non-conforming product.
  • Operate basic measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.
  • Follow Q.C. procedures, plans and test procedures as outlined.
  • Examine, disposition and document customer returns.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety in all of the quality control work areas.
  • Prompt completion of tasks assigned by quality management.
  • All other tasks so assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Prior experience in quality control and/or manufacturing preferred.
  • You are detail-oriented, capable of reviewing and documenting a high volume of product evaluations.
  • You are a skilled written and verbal communicator.
  • You possess excellent time management skills and can prioritize various tasks as assigned by the quality control manager to ensure their completion in a timely manner.
  • You are capable of operating basic measuring devices (such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
  • You are a team player who likes to work collaboratively.
