Hire Up Staffing is currently partnering with a manufacturing client to identify a detail-oriented Quality Technician for their 2nd shift team. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, maintaining production standards, and supporting overall operational flow on the production floor.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19 + DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine visual inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Conduct product testing at scheduled intervals and accurately record results
  • Audit production processes to confirm adherence to work instructions and proper use of tools and equipment
  • Complete final inspections and assist with packaging, labeling, and inventory transactions
  • Identify, document, and help contain non-conforming materials, including coordinating rework or disposal
  • Communicate quality concerns to leadership and support corrective action efforts
  • Assist with production support tasks including line coverage, training, and job changeovers
  • Monitor work order progress and maintain accurate production and inventory records

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
  • Basic math and computer skills for data entry and reporting
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production teams
