Quality Technician | Grandville, MI

Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Grandville region seeking Quality Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis for non-conforming materials and products, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot various quality control equipment and gauges.
• Document inspection results, test data, and quality issues in detailed reports and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Support production teams in resolving quality-related issues and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T
• Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and statistical process control (SPC)
