Rogers Group is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Ready-Mix Tanker Driver to transport bulk material between ready-mix plants, and job sites in the Dayton, TN area to support our ETN Team. Class A CDL is required. The successful candidate for this role must have an uncompromising focus on safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a bulk tanker (pneumatic tanker) to transport cement, fly ash, and other dry materials
  • Load and unload tanker using pressurized air systems
  • Deliver materials to ready-mix plants and designated sites
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and tanker equipment
  • Monitor pressure gauges and ensure proper unloading procedures
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, tickets, and logs
  • Follow all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and team members
  • Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness of tanker and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Experience with bulk/pneumatic tankers strongly preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A license (required)
  • Tanker endorsement required (N endorsement)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of CDL driving experience preferred
  • Ability to operate pressurized unloading systems safely
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to climb ladders and access top of tanker
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Work in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and dust exposure
  • Ability to handle hoses and manage pressurized unloading equipment
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Clean driving record (MVR review required)
