Receiving Clerk I (Fraser, MI)

This position is responsible for receiving and processing all incoming products in the warehouse. Unload and receive all inventory from trucking carriers. Count and visually inspect packages for damage before signing for FedEx, UPS, or LTL shipments. Follow work instructions and procedures for the process of incoming material. Maintain a clean and safe environment. All other duties as deemed appropriate to the position.

Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures. Written and oral communication skills. Proficient with Computer/Microsoft Suite/Great Plains Dynamics/WMS. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Use of Stand-Up Forklift, Sit-Down Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Pallet Jack, Handheld Scanner, Computer, Scale, L-Bar Sealer, Heat Tunnel, Pallet Wrapper, Wrap & Top Label Application System.

High School Diploma or GED. Sit Down Forklift, Stand-Up Forklift certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed. Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function). Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function). Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 50 lbs. with assisted lift. (not having any weight restrictions). Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for distribution. Able to stand for longer periods of time. Able to bend stoop and lift overhead. Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments. May work extended hours during peak business cycles. The compensation range for this position is between $18-$19 per hour depending on experience and location.
