Records Management / FOIA Specialist
📍 Washington, DC (On-site) 📌 Full-Time | Proposal-Based / Contingent Upon Award
Overview Synertex is seeking a Records Management / FOIA Specialist to support federal records processing, FOIA requests, and compliance with records management regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process FOIA and Privacy Act requests
- Review, redact, and prepare documents for release
- Maintain records in compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize systems such as Salesforce for tracking requests
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather responsive records
- Support records digitization and document management efforts
- Ensure compliance with NARA and federal records policies
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of FOIA, records management, or related experience
- Experience with:
- FOIA and Privacy Act processes
- Records management systems
- Document review and redaction
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce experience
- Records digitization/scanning experience
- Knowledge of federal records retention policies
- Preferred certifications: TIL v4; Salesforce Admin; IAPP CIPP/G (Certified Information Privacy Professional - Government)
