Sanitation Lead – 3rd shift

Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Lead to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Wednesday 8:00pm-5:30am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.40-$22.95 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Direct sanitation operations within corporate policies and procedures.
• Training staff according to SSOP guidelines while using proper chemical handling practices.
• Being responsible for cleaning equipment and surfaces as well as documenting work in the egg processing facility.
• Maintaining a clean and safe plant while adhering to all USDA/AQ/HACCP requirements for sanitation operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reading, writing and basic computer skills required as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Qualified individuals will possess interpersonal supervisory skills, an excellent mechanical aptitude, and preferably a fork lift license
