Semi-Truck Driver

What We Offer:
Starting Pay: $29.25/hour Shift Premium: +$1.00/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts Wage Progression: Increases every 6 months until top pay, then annually

Shift Overview 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Includes a paid lunch Always-available, completely voluntary overtime before or after your shift
Key Responsibilities / Your Impact
- Safely transport materials and finished goods to and from suppliers and customers
- Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo to ensure safe transport
- Operate a semi-truck and trailer in compliance with all state laws and safety regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Complete bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and required documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure equipment is in peak operating condition
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations and communicate relevant feedback
- Exercise sound judgment to ensure safe driving and operating conditions
Every employee is expected to:
- Complete required paperwork, labor reporting, and material tracking
- Work safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Perform self-inspections and support quality standards
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities
- Support team members and assist in training when needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL – Class A)
- Excellent driving record with required endorsements
- Ability to read, write, and demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and safe equipment operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must meet Wisconsin DOT physical/medical requirements and pass substance screenings (including random testing)
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (lifting devices available)
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of truck driving school or similar training
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
