Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with accepted accounting principles and standards.
- Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate billing, receipt of payment, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Perform complex financial accounting tasks, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in Financial Statements, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, and General Ledger.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong decision-making skills.
