Job Description

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTANTfor a stable non-automotive manufacturing client in Rochester Hills.

REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Accountant role

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Month-End Close
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP Systems Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accountant role

• Execute month end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and support financial reporting
• Support year end close and audit requests, both internal and external
• Process and oversee accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, payments
• Support internal controls and documentation
• Collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross functional team
