Senior Portfolio Manager

JCW is partnering with a commercial bank based in the North Stamford area to hire a Portfolio Manager. This is a full-time opportunity sitting within the Private Client Team, supporting a book of C&I relationships with a notable concentration in the Health Care sector.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Private Client Team to oversee and develop a portfolio of lending and deposit relationships
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate borrower creditworthiness, including building financial models and stress testing transactions
• Track portfolio performance, flag deteriorating credits, and ensure covenant obligations are documented appropriately
• Review loan files to verify risk ratings reflect current credit quality and prepare supporting materials for any adjustments
• Compile borrower financial data, collateral details, and credit histories to support loan and credit documentation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of diversified C&I commercial banking experience
• Solid understanding of credit products and the regulatory environment governing commercial lending
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Abrigo is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
