Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate – (Cold Storage Warehouse)

Job Description

This role supports shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a brand-new cold storage warehouse environment. You will operate stand-up forklifts, handle pallet and case inspections, assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, and help maintain a clean, safe, and secure facility while completing a wide range of warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and proper stock rotation.

• Inspect each pallet and case for correct quantities, item numbers, brands, and lot codes (as applicable), and identify any damages.

• Follow all special instructions listed on Work Assignment Forms and any additional documentation for each order or task.

• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including picking, staging, and moving product as required.

• Operate stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in a cold storage environment.

• Complete case picking and other order fulfillment tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times.

• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse by following all facility access and product handling procedures.

• Conduct all operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with company policies and procedures.

• Participate fully in all assigned training programs and apply all learnings on the job.

• Perform additional forklift responsibilities when case pick work is completed to support overall warehouse operations.

• Carry out additional job duties as assigned to meet operational needs across the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.53 - $23.59/hr.
