Allegiance Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk for a manufacturing facility in Landrum, SC. This position involves working in a dirty and dusty environment with graphite, making it ideal for candidates who are comfortable in hands-on industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipping documentation such as bills of lading and packing lists.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
- Enter and track shipment information using computer systems or ERP software.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and assist with inventory as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and carriers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of shipping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated job stability, with consistent employment history and longevity (3 or more years with previous employers).
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and computer skills (ERP/WMS and Microsoft Office).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a dirty and dusty environment involving graphite.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
