Description
Forklift Driver – Shipping & Receiving
Keep things moving and food fresh!
Join our Shipping & Receiving team and play a key role in getting high-quality food products where they need to go. If you're a hands-on team player who doesn't mind a cool environment and loves staying busy, this one's for you!
What You'll Do
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload product safely
- Keep products organized using FIFO rotation
- Scan pallets, verify counts, complete paperwork, and replace broken pallets
- Report any damaged product, safety concerns, or incidents right away
- Cross-train in other areas and support the team as needed
- Follow food safety, GMP, OSHA, and forklift procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly
Work Environment
- Cold & wet environment (36°F–38°F)
- Fast-paced and team-oriented
- Forklift traffic—safety awareness is key!
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift
- Lift 1–25 lbs continuously, up to 50–75 lbs occasionally (empty pallets)
- Stack boxes 5–6 high and move product manually when needed
What You Bring
- Forklift experience & license
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
- Basic math and organization skills
- Team-first attitude and attention to detail
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays if needed
Safety First
PPE is required, including slip-resistant shoes, hair/beard nets, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, bump cap, apron, rain gear, and more.
