Summer Migrant Program EL Aide, Grades 3-6

Approximately June 15, 2026 - July 24, 2026

What You Need:

  • Ability to work successfully with students, staff, administrators and community members
  • Knowledge of instructional strategies for literacy and/or mathematics
  • Must be flexible
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Other qualifications as deemed essential for successful performance in the position

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Experience Working with Migrant and At-Risk Student Populations
  • Fluent Spanish Literacy Skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing)

Responsibilities:

  • Work with staff to identify appropriate materials and strategies to ensure successful student interventions
  • Work with students in small groups and/or one-on-one
  • Provide staff with feedback on student performance and progress
  • Assist staff in relevant data collection and analysis, including participation in data-based decisions related to intervention implementation and modification
  • Participate in school activities as a member of the school community
  • Supervise students in a variety of settings
  • Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district and self- selected professional growth activities
  • Performs other such duties as may reasonably be assigned

Skills/Certification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Spanish speaking ability preferred
  • Show passion about the teaching/learning process for every child
  • Build relationships with students and families
  • Provide customer service atmosphere for our community
