Emerson Health is seeking a Sports Physical Therapist who is passionate about working with youth and adult athletes, orthopedic patients, and active individuals. In this role, you will evaluate and treat sports injuries, develop personalized rehabilitation plans, and guide patients through strength training and return-to-play progression programs. Working within a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with physicians, athletic trainers, strength coaches, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat patients with sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders Develop individualized rehabilitation and return-to-play programs Provide care to youth and adult athletes as well as general orthopedic patients Collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, strength and conditioning professionals, and physicians Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize recovery and performance Educate patients and families on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return to sport Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records What We're Looking For The ideal candidate brings clinical expertise in sports rehabilitation, enjoys problem solving, and thrives in a team-based sports medicine environment. Candidates with experience in strength and conditioning, athletic training, or performance rehabilitation are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program Experience Previous outpatient or sports rehabilitation experience strongly preferred Licensure & Certification Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required BLS Healthcare Provider certification required Preferred certifications or interest in pursuing: OCS - Orthopedic Clinical Specialist SCS - Sports Clinical Specialist CSCS - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Skills & Strengths Strong clinical expertise in sports rehabilitation and orthopedic care Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary sports medicine team Professional and courteous communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent patient needs Commitment to service excellence and patient-centered care Strong computer skills and ability to maintain patient confidentiality Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $37 - $55 Hourly
