Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial reporting, and support strategic financial initiatives. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and improving accounting processes.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • CPA certification preferred (or in progress)

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
