STAND-UP Forklift Operator / Logistics

About the position: Tier one automotive supplier in the Bessemer/ McCalla, AL area seeking experienced Assembly employees and stand-up Forklift operators. In these roles, candidates will be responsible for detailed assembly of automotive parts. These are full time opportunities on 1st ,2nd and 3rd shift. Starting pay rate of $18.00 hour.

Responsibilities:

• Valid forklift certification / experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts if required.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification or equivalent experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, or night shifts if required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
