RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver customers' orders safely, quickly, and cheerfully

  • Help keep the parking lot clean and free from litter

  • Accept payments and keep proper change account documentation

  • Maintain delivery vehicle in safe, fueled, and clean condition

  • Keep vehicle maintenance records

  • Provide good customer and associate relations

  • Able to communicate with customers and associates

  • Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers

  • Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the area of maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Willing to work weekends and holidays

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly

  • Able to calmly, courteously and tactfully handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers

  • Able to read maps, signs, delivery orders, and product labels

  • Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record

  • Knowledge of the required delivery area and town
