Substitute Cleaner

The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to serve as Substitute Cleaners in the Buildings and Grounds Department. Substitute Cleaners assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in all district facilities. Work assignments may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, and assisting with event setup or seasonal cleaning projects. Duties may be performed independently or as part of a team and may include indoor and outdoor tasks. Preferred qualities: reliability and strong work ethic, attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean facilities, ability to follow verbal and written directions, cooperative attitude and ability to work well with others, willingness to perform a variety of cleaning tasks as assigned. This is an as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on district needs.
