Substitute Custodian – Multiple Sites – Day or Night Shifts

Job Summary

Sweep, mop, scrub and apply floor finish, dust, wash, finish or polish furniture and wood surface. Empty and clean waste receptacles, wash windows and walls, clean restrooms. Pick up and dispose of debris; sweep/rake sidewalks and parking areas, move and arrange furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork; replace fluorescent tubes and light bulbs. Replenish restroom and custodian supplies, receive and store supplies. Turn on/off lights, unlock/lock doors and windows; report the need for repairs. Observe building activities to prevent vandalism, ensuring building security. Operate power-cleaning equipment. May operate and clean low pressure heating systems. May train and supervise student aides. Assist with emergency cleaning to preserve health and safety. Remove and/or paint over graffiti. Assemble new furniture as time allows.

Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of Interest, Resume, 2 Letters of Recommendation. LiveScan fingerprinting and current TB test are required before hire.
