Summer Custodial Worker

Meridian CUSD 223 is seeking summer custodial workers to assist the building custodial staff during the summer months. This temporary position supports the preparation and maintenance of school facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• General cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Deep cleaning and summer turnover of school facilities
• Floor care (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing as directed)
• Window cleaning and related maintenance tasks
• Moving furniture and assisting with room setups
• Performing other duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a background check
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical
