Section 2: Information about the role

• Job title: Maintenance Assistant
• Age requirement: 17 years and older
• Job scope: Assist with maintaining the buildings and grounds of the entire school district
• This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the grass; landscaping; furniture assembly and small maintenance jobs
• You will work directly under a supervisor and you will perform tasks that are assigned to you
• School District 151 consists of 4 four schools and an administrative building
• On the job training will be provided
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (½ hour is given for lunch)
• Projected start date is Monday, June 16, 2025 and projected end date is TBD
• Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
• Only 5 positions are available
