Description

Ranch Manager

The Ranch encompasses approximately 2,200 deeded acres, along with a common grazing allotment with the US Forest Service. The ranch leases out seasonal grazing for approximately 120 cattle with grazing prior to turning out on the forest allotment and then again after gathering off the forest in the fall. The Ranch additionally owns 40 head of cattle that are run in common with the lease tenant and on the Forests Permit. The Ranch also serves as a private retreat for the owners, their family, and guests. Recreational activities include fishing, riding, hiking, hunting, and seasonal gatherings.

The property includes two primary compounds with a main owner's home and barn along with a second nearby location that includes the shop, equipment storage and apartment, all of which require regular care, maintenance, and oversight. The Ranch Manager will ensure that operations run smoothly, the land is stewarded responsibly, and guests are welcomed in a professional and hospitable manner.

The Ranch Manager reports directly to the owner and works closely with the owner's advisors and accounting personnel. The manager is expected to collaborate effectively with contractors, vendors, service providers, and community partners.
