Systems Engineer/Test And Integration Weapons And Sensors
Test and Evaluation (T&E) Weapons and Sensors System Test Engineer will be located in Marinette, WI, and perform the following tasks:
- Coordinate LCS Weapons and Sensors activities to include test execution of installation, configuration, testing, debug, trials, & certification, for the weapons-sensor systems onboard various ship classes including but not limited to LCS Freedom Class ships, Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) ships, and FFG 62 Class ships as part of the broader Combat System Integration & Test Waterfront Enterprise team.
- Assist in the implementation of the weapons-sensor systems and test schedule, integrated with the ship production, cable, navigation, Total Ship's Computing Environment (TSCE) and Exterior Communications (EXCOMMS) test schedules.
- Perform the required setup, configuration, and verification of Weapons and Sensors, to include their interfaces with other LM teams (design, implementation), vendors, and government as required.
- Coordinate test planning, dependency management, and test conduct of the Stage 3-7 testing, working with the ship builder, LM teams, vendors, QA, and customer as required.
- Identify, communicate, and coordinate problems and deficiencies impacting weapons-sensor installation and test, and develop and support mitigation strategies as appropriate.
- The candidate will also be expected to work in a dynamic and demanding environment that includes additional work hours that are required to meet schedule commitments and support emergent program requirements. This will include evenings, off-shifts and/or weekends and potential travel on an as-required basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of systems implementation and integration, including planning, scheduling, and resolving dependencies.
- Strong communication skills required for effective interface with management, vendors, and the customer on program and technical aspects and issues.
- Able to work independently and unsupervised, self-starter, motivated, work well with multiple teams, including military customer.
- Candidate must be able to maintain a security clearance.
- This position requires frequent Shipboard support in a shipyard that includes accessing tight spaces and transit up/down ladders
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Combat systems including C2, Radar systems, Gun Systems, Gun Fire Control System, Missile Systems, Decoy Launching, IFF, Electronic Support Measures.
- Analytical and problem solving skills to effectively track, manage, and status multiple technical items and issues.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
- Ability to coordinate production, vendors, and outside agencies for required installation, light-off, test, and support of major milestones.
- Ability to research design and implementation issues, read and translates drawings, and communicates implementation approaches and deficiencies.
- Ability to perform analysis and studies in depth, make professional presentations, and keep up with technical advancements in above areas.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
