Adelphi is seeking qualified Registered Occupational Therapists to provide services at a facility in Tom Green County, Texas. Requirements:

Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Texas

Must be in good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners

All certifications must remain current throughout the assignment

Maintain required Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for licensure

13 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred

Strong communication skills, including documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration

Must comply with agency & facility requirements, including drug screening & FBI fingerprint background check

Must comply with agency and facility immunization requirements

Must complete all required facility and agency training requirements

Responsibilities:

Complete occupational therapy assessments

Perform treatments and ongoing monitoring of clients

Provide training to clients and staff

Complete documentation and required reports by established deadlines

Participate in program planning for individuals with a variety of diagnoses

Attend meetings and provide information as needed

Provide skilled therapy services and attend client meetings

Teach and support Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff in residential homes

Conduct services in accordance with Texas Occupational Therapy laws and regulations

Comply with all applicable facility rules, regulations, and policies
