Tool Attendant

Assures the proper and efficient storage, receiving, issuance and recording of tools, fixtures, and equipment requisite to and associated with necessary production and operations.

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

• Directly responsible for the timely delivering of tools, fixtures, shop aids, etc., requested by production departments in a manner which will facilitate maintaining production schedules.
• Maintains tool control records to assure the proper location and disposition of tools. Entry and retrieval of data from computer tooling control system.
• Maintains tools in a manner that preserves their utility in the manner prescribed by existing procedures.
• Processes request(s) as required from supervisor of tool storage for inventories, surveys, scrap orders and any reports deemed to properly record conditions and/or disposition of tools.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
• Other duties with the work as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Annual Target Salary = $17.60 - 28.66
