Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 10, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient assignment at a hospital-affiliated therapy clinic in Georgia, treating a general orthopedic and neurological patient population on a Monday–Friday schedule. Details Hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy Patient population includes general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures Average patient load of 10–15 patients per day, scheduled in 30-minute intervals with dovetailing; complex evaluations are 1 hour, simple evals and treatments are 30 minutes Schedule is Monday–Friday during normal business hours; no weekends, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required Shift options include five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days; the clinic will determine the consistent day off throughout the assignment EMR: Epic No floating required Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required; most recent experience must be within the last year Active Georgia PT license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Additional Information The clinic has a small team consisting of 2 therapists, 1 Office Coordinator, and 1 Rehab Aide on site Orientation includes a new employee orientation (NEO) plus 5 days of departmental training Polos in teal and black will be provided; slacks and clean shoes are preferred Free parking is available on site Local candidates are accepted; no radius rule applies — the same rate is offered to local travelers at Georgia facilities Candidates who have previously worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible American Traveler Job ID P-699026.
