Traveling Master Fitter/Builder

Traveling Master Fitters & Builders work one-on-one with customers to provide a tour-level club fitting experience. They are responsible for delivering tour-level club fitting experiences through providing in-depth club fitting knowledge while also possessing the interpersonal skills to sell relationally to our clients. Master Fitters are also responsible for building networks, managing customer relationships, assisting with all store operations as required by their manager and must be able to travel weekly.

Essential functions include conducting innovative tour-level fitting experiences, reading and explaining data points in the club fitting process, overseeing customer relations for their studio and personal clients, maintaining brand standards, growing, maintaining, and managing a network of business personally and across their studio, building golf clubs to tightest tolerances in the industry, utilizing relational selling methods to grow business metrics, and performing other duties as assigned.

Education and experience required include a college degree preferred, experience with club fitting and launch monitors required, 1+ years in sales experience required, and experience selling custom golf clubs preferred.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include knowledge, skill and ability to know and understand golf, customer focus, communication skills - written, verbal, and non-verbal, time management, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, decision making, developing peer relationships, and presentation skills.

Work environment includes studio locations with hitting bays and build shop.

Supervisory responsibilities and coordination include none.

Equipment used to perform the job includes SalesForce, Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, Microsoft Office, build-shop equipment (including vices, saws, sanding belts, etc), and expense management software.

Physical abilities include ability to stand or sit for extended periods and demonstrate motions as needed, ability to work with their hands as needed to build golf clubs, ability to meet travel requirements, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
