Turndown Attendant - The Little Nell
The Turndown Attendant is responsible for providing evening turndown service in accordance with the standards of The Little Nell. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and restful guest environment through detailed room presentation and thoughtful touches. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping.
Applications for this position will be accepted until May 10, 2026.
• Provide turndown service for up to 15 guest residences per shift
• Tidy rooms and refresh presentation following established brand standards
• Perform full turndown service when requested and return if privacy signs are removed
• Turn down beds, place message card and amenity on pillows
• Adjust lighting and play music via television to enhance room ambiance
• Ensure the TV remote is placed on the nightstand
• Turn off alarm clocks
• Secure balcony doors and close window drapes
• Fold guest clothing as needed
• Check and clean glassware; replace coasters if necessary
• Refresh bathroom, replace towels and mats, and restock amenities
• Other duties as assigned
• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and hospitality service standards
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks during evening shifts
• Ability to write and read basic Spanish
• Ability to speak Basic English preferred
• Able to handle guest requests promptly and professionally
• Knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
