Utility Worker
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by checking pipe during and after the finishing process, and runs any necessary equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately inspects pipe with inspection tools
- Demonstrates ability to identify when the product doesn't meet specification and standards, and escalation scale
- Properly stack and band pallets
- Follow scrap pipe procedure
- Assists Extruder Operators during start-up/shutdown operations
- Keeps area clean at all times
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, and colleagues
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
