South Burlington, VT
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory handling, and customer support. This role involves operating a forklift, preparing outbound shipments, receiving and stocking materials, and assisting customers at the counter and over the phone. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to pull, move, and stage materials
  • Prepare outbound orders by building, wrapping, and organizing pallets
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Assist customers at the counter with order pickup, questions, and support
  • Answer incoming calls and provide order assistance or direct inquiries appropriately
  • Perform order entry and research as needed
  • Follow work orders and ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Support general warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of sit-down forklift experience
  • Ability to read and understand work orders
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Experience

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory preferred
  • Experience in plumbing, pipe, valve, fittings, or related distribution environments preferred but not required
