SUMMARY : The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all customer orders filled. The right candidate will operate warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack, forklift, barcode scanner, and wrapper machine to build and send appropriate orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with our Sales, Operations and Customer Service Teams.
- Provide product knowledge and sales support as needed.
- Process order entry as needed and coordinate daily shipments following company guidelines.
- Responsibility for the organization and inventory accuracy of the warehouse.
- Pulling orders, palletizing, shrink wrapping, loading trucks.
- Unloading palletized and loose filters from inbound vendors and putting stock away
- Fabrication of custom filters and filter pads. Must be comfortable using a band saw.
- Responsible for all aspects of inventory control.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or overstock situations.
- Using Camfil's MRP system to adjust Inventory and ship and receive.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Availability for daily/weekly overtime.
- Cross-train in other positions within the facility based on business needs.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of stable work history. Experience is a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer skills a plus.
- Reliability a must.
- Must be comfortable using a band saw.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for continuous periods throughout the day.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to both office and warehouse environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
