Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for moving material within the distribution center and from the loading platform, whether loading, pushing, rolling, or operating forklifts, cranes, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment. You believe in doing the job correctly. Being the best. And you are ready for the challenge. Additionally, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Receive incoming inventory and supplies, record them in the company's warehouse system, and store the inventory in the appropriate location.
  • Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions.
  • Fill out invoices for customers.
  • Verify part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items.
  • Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damages. Notify the Warehouse Manager of any issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while on company premises or driving company vehicles or equipment.
  • Track all inventory in the appropriate system.
  • Organize and clean the warehouse space and company equipment as needed.
  • Report any customer problems or concerns immediately.
  • Train fellow associates in warehouse operational practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures when necessary.
  • Apply policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and recommend changes to warehouse management.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to reduce the cost per unit of the warehouse and increase productivity.
  • Maintain practical knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system.
  • Deliver supplies and equipment as needed, observing all DOT and OSHA regulated regulations.
  • Other assigned tasks.

Qualifications: You have a history of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for solving difficult problems and enjoy a practical approach to your work. You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You are often required to walk or stand for long hours and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Experience operating forklifts (forklift certification is a plus). Capable of operating personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You have at least 1 year of warehouse experience. Compensation of $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience.
