Warehouse Worker

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and management of materials and supplies within our production environment. You will locate materials as per the work order, maintain inventory at the production line, prepare finished stock for shipment, and operate various material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Locate materials and supplies by picking and verifying items listed on the work order.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at the production line by delivering and opening materials.
  • Prepare finished stock for shipment by labeling, loading, pulling, and securing products.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and utility carts.
  • Work with RF Scanning equipment to maintain records of merchandise shipped.
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and manufacturing lines.
  • Handle finished goods palletizing and unload trucks.
  • Spend 90% of the day on a forklift, primarily sit-down but occasionally stand-up models.
  • Adapt to an extremely fast-paced work environment.

Essential Skills

  • 1 - 3 years of forklift operating experience.
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Experience with inventory, picking, packing, RF scanner, loading, and pallet jack.
  • Proficiency in operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving, and warehouse inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
