Maintenance Associate

Save More Marketplace, a trusted community grocer since 1959, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to join our team. In this essential role, you will help maintain the safety, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of our store facilities to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers and a safe workspace for our employees. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of store facilities and equipment.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of store premises, including interior areas, restrooms, entrances, and parking lots.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with purchasing when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance, repair, or related fields preferred.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
